Finding Buried Treasure

There are two types of buried treasure you can look for. The first is those things that were buried on purpose. People still bury things and money in jars or cans and then die without telling anyone the location of their stash, so there are some of these out there to be found. A metal detector helps with both this type and the second type of buried treasure – things that get buried by accident or over time. This category includes coins in the ground around old homesteads, and jewelry lost in the sand at the beach. Start digging and who knows what you’ll find.
