Some pornographic pop-up

I let my 8 year old use my PC from time to time. She likes looking at pictures, or watching cartoons on Youtube. One day while she was randomly checking out things on the Web, a pop-up of a nude woman came up. It was a good thing I was right over her shoulder so I was able to intervene before she got too interested in what she was seeing. I hate pop-ups! I think I turned my pop-up blocker on, but for some reason, some pornographic pop-up still got through. I got the best internet security software to prevent that from happening again.
