Possible Rural Internet Solutiions

I never cease to be amazed at what we take for granted. I have always lived in densely populated areas and never realized how fortunate I was to have access to cable TV and internet service. Service was no more than a phone call away. Sometime it could started the same day the call was placed. This is not the case in rural Montana. We just moved to a rural area in Montana and quickly discovered that there was no cable availability. I am looking for possible solutions for getting a rural internet connection. I know I can always go to dail up but I have become incredibly spoiled and am looking for something much faster.
