I have discovered the pros and cons of contracting a paid web managed hosting provider compared to a free one, are in what services they offer. Most independent web hosts offer all the tools you need to build a professional looking website. While your Internet service provider may offer you web space, it is usually just that, because they do not offer the tools to build your website. You then must build it yourself with third party software. Also, most ISPs do not allow you to upload your web pages through their website, which means you will need to use an external program called an FTP (file transfer protocol) client.
