Everything you want to know about the Zune 3.0 release and new hardware

I posted the news about the new Zune 3.0 software on the zune Blog the other day, but if you want to learn all the details of the new Zune hardware, accessories, and Zune 3.0 update coming to you next week then check out Jason Dunn’s detailed 6-page writeup on his recent visit to Zune HQ in Redmond.
Jason covers the desktop software (Channels seem cool), the social improvements, firmware updates, how to search with the on-device text selection mechanism, games, accessories, and audiobooks.
Like Jason states in his conclusion, I too would like to see a widescreen, high resolution Zune designed for video consumption. I am pleased with the WiFi improvements and may just have to subscribe to the Zune Pass again. I have already charged up my Zune 4GB as I get ready to hit the jogging trail again and get back into some semblance of shape before the winter months set in.
