Everything about runtime error 9 subscript out of range

February 5th, 2010

Is it the case that when you use Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications to search for and list available printers, you receive the following error message – runtime error 9 subscript out of range? If yes, then just read through the next few lines to resolve it. The reason for this error is that no printer is defined on your computer.

To resolves this you can add a printer to your system configuration, if a local or network printer is available. To do this, go to Start>Settings and then click Printers. In the Printers folder, double-click Add Printer, and then follow the wizard instructions carefully to install a printer.
