Audio video conferencing systems help keep it together.

May 26th, 2008

We recently installed new equipment in our offices that allow for some of the staff to work remotely and from their home offices.

Do these audio video conferencing systems really help out in the long run? And in what way to do they help?

For one, they do offer better functionality in a board room or office meeting in that a coworker can see, listen and talk to us and participate in the meeting while in a different city or town.

This is nice for moms who have to take maternity leave but still need to give input or want toparticipatee as much as possible until they can return full time.
So, yes, in short I do believe they help in keeping everyone in the loop.
