A problem with my office documents

I am experiencing a problem with my computer. I have Office 2003 installed as well as the Microsoft Vista operating system — and when I open my document in Internet Explorer I find that all of these documents are now in a read-only format, so I can’t make any changes to them. This is weird and I wonder if there are any Windows Vista updates available which would take care of this problem for me. I’m going to do a little bit of surfing around on the net to see if I can find a free download to help me out. I’m sure there are other people who had this issue and figured out how to solve it. That is why the internet is so helpful, people share information and answers with others.
