One Of The Many Duties Of Executor Is To Notify Financial Institutions

In today’s tough economic times, many people have taken some of their money out of the stock market and put it into something a bit more stable. There are still many people, however, that continue to invest their money in retirement accounts or money market accounts that put the money into the market. One of the many duties of executor of an estate is to notify the various financial institutions of the passing of a friend or loved one. This is an important step to take to make sure the deceased person’s money is still managed and handled the way they wanted it to be in their last will and testament.
