Is Your Partner Lying About Their Divorce? Check a Public Divorce Records Database

April 5th, 2008

Have you just entered into a new relationship, but have a niggling doubt that your new partner has been lying to you? Perhaps they claim they are divorced – but you’re not quite sure if they are telling the truth. One way to achieve peace of mind without having to cause drama in your new relationship, is to check a public divorce records database to see if your new partner is really divorced. This is legal and within your rights to do – but there is usually a small fee involved. It can be a long and drawn out affair if you’re trying to access public records the free way, so most people decide paying a few dollars for a near instant answer is worth it.
