No Slacking with Ironman Training
May 1st, 2010
Have you ever tried to participate in an endurance event with no type of training? The likelihood is that you were on the side of the road throwing up not even half way through the event. There is definitely no time for a person to be slacking if they are in the middle of an Ironman training program. Training needs to be done an average of 6 days a week and that includes doing multiple portions of the race in each workout. One day off is not much when you are talking hours of working out at the same time each day.
