Franklin Gutierrez hit a two-run single against closer Bobby Jenks in the bottom of the 11th inning Wednesday to lead the Seattle Mariners to 2-1 win over White Sox Chicago.l
Jenks had a second bad action in the last inning in four days and the advantage of Chicago over Minnesota fell to two games and media in the Central Division of the National League .
Omar Vizquel emerged as man of the match when the race ‘s single drove in Gordon Beckham with two outs in the top of the 11th inning, in what was the first touchdown of the game.
But Jenks (1-3) gave up a single with a touch of Jack Wilson to start the inning.
Ichiro Suzuki was sacrificed to send Wilson to second Boston Red Sox Tickets at Fenway Park. Wilson advanced to third on a hit line of Chone Figgins , who then stole second.
Then , the Venezuelan Gutierrez hit his simple code for the center and Alex Rios took the ball and his throw to the plate was checked in the table. Figgins slid into the plate and ran to the pitch to join their colleagues who congratulated Gutierrez.
