Surfing wetsuits are indeed different than the dry-suits most of us are familiar with. A dry-suit is just that, a suit that keeps you dry, but a wetsuit has a lot more responsibility and is a necessary in today’s water world. There are many different types of wetsuits so deciding the correct one for you can be difficult. The main goal of the wetsuit is to protect us from cold water. Materials that these wetsuits are made of can be different in it’s insulation properties. Determine what you are needing it for first and then do your research on the different types available for you.
