Things that Effect Exchange Rates

Institutions that want to make money off the currencies of different countries will want to participate in a foreign exchange market. In this market, institutions can trade currencies throughout the day and night. The only time they are unable to trade is on the weekends. Different institutions in the UK will want to pay attention to different things that effect exchange rates. This includes changes in government leadership, inflation levels, and economic health among other things. Any institution can make money if they are experienced in the foreign exchange market. Sometimes people can take a chance and profit when the currency value of one country increases over time.
