Zurich Carnival

Our family is planning to take a vacation to Switzerland, and we want to be in Zurich at the same time as the Zurich Carnival. We think that would be a really fun time for the kids, who love carnivals. We can also take time to see the other tourist attractions while we are there. I am sure the hotels in Zurich get booked way ahead of time for this time period, so I am looking into finding a good hotel for us near the Carnival sight right now. If anyone could recommend a good one I would really appreciate it.
