Why The Most Expensive Hair Tools?

Shopping for hair equipment can be a pain. Especially when every one recommends that you buy the most expensive hair equipment. But is the most expensive hair styling equipment the best type of equipment to have? The reason I ask this is because many recommend the chi curling irons as the best tool to create curls. But my experience has been the opposite. I have used this curling iron in the past and I was so frustrated with it that I demanded my money back for buying this iron. The curling iron damaged my hair and it broke off pieces of my hair.
