Recipes for Fresh Green Beans
June 22nd, 2008
I remember when I was a child my mother was always trying new recipes for fresh green beans. Unlike today where you can find fresh green beans in the supermarket year round, when I was a child it was only a few precious months in the summer. I leared how to cook green beans lots of different ways from my mother, and I am teaching my daughter some wonderful green bean recipes. We cook lots of different ethnic green bean recipes, Greek, German, English and Dutch. Green Beans are a very versatile vegetable and can be cooked in a variety of ways and enhanced with lots of different spices.
