Quilting Fabric: Astounding Facts

Quilting, a method of sewing joins 3 materials together to create a decorative pattern of fabric. A quilt usually consists of the top quilt, an insulating layer of cloth and a bottom backing fabric. Nowadays quilting through sewing and longarm machines are getting popularized as compared to hand stitching.
One of the most olden methods of quilting is hand quilting, where stitches are made by quilter using needle and thread . Prior to quilt designing, it is necessary to pin or tack stitch the fabric material together using sewing machines. Longarm quilting machines set out to meet industry standards fastens the entire process of quilting. My next post will be about, quilting fabric.
