Oakland Snakes

Have you ever had someone come to your door and tell you not to be alarmed but they were looking for an 6 foot snake? I will guarantee you that there is no way that you will not be alarmed. We had officers from the Oakland Animal Control Center knocking on our door and every door in the neighborhood that morning. It seems that one of our neighbor’s sons was raising snakes as a hobby and one had gotten out of it’s cage. After a few days they called to report the loss and then a door to door search was being conducted.
