First Aid – Your Guide To First Aid
July 4th, 2009
Administering first aid to a victim who is injured or ill can be the first step to saving that person?s life. It is important for everyone to have some basic first aid knowledge, since you never know when you might need to use it. The most critical time after an accident, or when someone has been hurt, is the first few minutes after the accident takes place. People who are already on scene can begin administering help while waiting for the professionals to arrive. You may keep first aid supplies ready and be fully trained in first aid, but there may not be any need for either to be used at all. It can be very comforting to know that if an emergency should arise you are prepared and could even save a life of someone you love. My next post will be about first aid.
