Grown on tray or containers called ?bon?, the bonsai trees are semi woody natured plants or miniature trees. The cultivation, having started in china, spread on to Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand. It would be a wonderful sight to see a beautiful bonsai tree outdoors among the various plants of your garden or indoors near the window. Fashionable styles of bonsai trees like slant, cascade, upright and windswept are becoming more popular today, since bonsai trees are also used for spiritual purposes.

Cutting and layering help in formation string branches from trees, which can later be incorporated as bonsai trees. Repotting and watering will keep the bonsai trees alive and additionally clamping, pruning, drafting, wiring and defoliation keep them elegant looking.
