Worker Falls Down an Elevator Shaft

My husband works on a construction job site and had to help a co-worker out of a difficult situation. The construction company has a new five story building that it is constructing and yesterday, a worker stepped backwards near the elevator and fell down the elevator shaft. My husband was nearby and was lowered down on a rope to check on his injuries and to wait with him for the fire department and ambulance crew. My husband had a co-worker call a pennsylvania construction injuries attorney to take his case. The supervisor had been told that the safety rails were not installed yet on the elevator shaft area.
