My Mother Was Happy that Her Injury Case was Finally Over

I saw my mother cry today when she got off the phone with her accident lawyer in bend. I know that was the person that she was talking to because she had the same tone of voice that she usually has when talking with her lawyer. I could hear her conversations through my bedroom door but did not understand why she was crying. When I came out of my room she said that she had finally received a fair settlement for her injuries so her case is finally closed.
