Parents Pay for Teenagers New Sports Car and Insurance

I was amazed that my neighbors were willing to purchase their 19 year old son a new sports car. They had already complained about the high risk car insurance premiums that they were paying. Their son does not work nor does he go to college. He mentioned to me once that he wanted to live with his parents forever as long as they keep paying his way. I did not say anything except that the car looked nice. I do not want to get involved. It is sad when parents won’t let their children grow up and take responsibility like an adult.
