My sister recently bought a house in Minneapolis, Minnesota. One of the things I told her to do is to shop around carefully for homeowners insurance for MN. She did heed my advice and did some comparison shopping. My sister and her husband were shocked to notice that the quotes varied by quite a bit. There was a lot to be saved in premiums by going with the right companies. Later, my sister thanked me for helping her save lots of money on homeowners insurance.
