Why don’t we have a lower one?

Many people wonder what are the causes or reasons for the United States high employment rate — just how is it that we are able to employ such a high percentage of our own people, and keep them employed? Certainly one of the most important factors is the high level of education that many of our own citizens have attained. Related to that is the technical abilities that we have — we are generally very much at home in a technological environment. Because we have a diverse, technically-competent and well educated workforce, we can employee many more of them in diverse businesses and industries throughout the land.
