Toys Abound

November 24th, 2008

Dog toys, what are furry little animals to do without their prized possessions?  If you take a walk throughout pet stores, you’ll find nearly half the store is dedicated to just toys.  There are toys that rattle, some that bounce, others with internal openings so that food can be stored inside to keep dogs continually playing with the toy.  Many of the toys are made with a special material to withstand the pressure and teeth of dogs but ultimately, those toys wear down and shred to pieces.  With great popularity, discount stores have joined in on the fun and started to sell toys as well as, usually built of inferior material.  Nonetheless, the next time you’re headed to the store for everyday items, take a trip down the pet aisle and you’ll be astonished at the number of toys available for your dog.  The greatest thing about supplying your dog with toys is that when you’re not home, your dog can run around the house and jump from toy to toy, tossing it in the air.  This little playful event will bring you tears of sheer laughter to you when you walk and see them running wild.
