Remove That Carpet for a New Look

When we put the deck in a few years ago, we decided to cover it with outdoor carpet.  As time went by, the carpet got worn down and tears started to appear. We decided to remove it completely, which turned out to be a great idea! It took about an hour to pull it up, and another to clean up the glue. There wasn’t much more deck restoration needed, as the carpet provided protection over the years. We finished with a little sealant and stain. Maybe next year we will bite the bullet and put more on it, but till then we’re going to enjoy our “new” deck.
