Property Taxes for Greenwich Homes

September 30th, 2009

An important topic that often helps to make a final decision for home buyers is property taxes. This is also true when it comes to Greenwich homes, however homebuyers are typically surprised to find that Greenwich offers the lowest property tax rates across the tri-state region. For Greenwich homes, properties are assessed every four years. What this means for a home buyer is that the property tax doesn’t change when the home is purchased. It changes when it has been four years since the last assessment. This means it is important to find out when the last property assessment occurred, so that you know when your property taxes may (or may not) change.
