Local Fair Builds Bird Shed

Every year our local fair gets bigger and bigger. The 4-H kids always bring their animals and put on shows and win awards. The kids were wanting to put their birds on display and get involved with the shows. But, the fair grounds did not have a chicken coup. So, the bird group had a fundraiser and was able to raise enough money to put up a barn that had shelves. The kids bring their birds in their own cages and put them on the shelves. This was the first year with the birds at the fair and the 4-H club said they had a lot of visitors and even had some people asking how to buy their own birds and get into the club.
