I Don’t Want Them to Go Through What I Went Through

My mother and father divorced when I was three years old. I had a really hard time being a child of a single mother, mostly because we were poor. I was teased in school because my pants had holes in them. I remember being angry with my parents. Now, suddenly, I am faced with the same thing. I have two children and no husband. I don’t want them to go through what I went through, so I am going to find out about grants for single mothers. I have heard that I can get help going back to school. Hopefully, that would enable me to make enough money to support us.
