I contacted an attorney’s office for divorce information. I scheduled a free consultation with him when I called. I have been married for twenty-years, and I just found out that my husband has been having an affair for several of those years. I want to file for divorce,a nd I want to know what I am entitled to in our divorce settlement. We have children, and they are going to be devastated by this, but I am not going to stay in a marriage like mine any longer. I want to be sure that my children are taken care of, and I feel that I am entitled to alimony. I thought our life was perfect. Now that I realize it isn’t, I want to dissolve the marriage and I want my husband to pay for what he has done.
