High Performance Drag from the BG90

To say that the Daiwa BG90 is a workhorse is an understatement. I’ve used it for over six months now on practically a daily basis yet see no signs of wear or rust. It’s got excellent defenses against saltwater corrosion. The BG90 also has great drag features. I’ve read that it’s a mixture of materials, including leather, Teflon, Nomex and stainless steel washers. High performance drag is inevitable. My Daiwa BG90 has been through numerous tests, so to speak. I’ve brought it to Australia, the Carribean and to various fishing hotspots in the US. It’s tasted saltwater from both the Pacific and the Atlantic oceans. Despite the rigorous conditions it has been exposed to, the BG90 still performs at its best level.
