Fencing As A Backdrop For Flowers

I have a really ugly view from the back of my yard that I want to hide. It is a road with junky buildings along it. Thankfully it is some distance away. I am hiring a company, my neighbors recommended, for fence design and installation. I like their fencing a lot, so I feel pretty comfortable hiring this company to help me. My main concern is that the fence serve as a backdrop for the flowers and vines I want to plant at it’s base, sort of like a trellis. I want to look out the back door and see a wall of flowers instead of the ugly road beyond.
