.A father of the bride speech is more important them many people give it credit. This speech is the speech that opens the reception up and really gets it started. The father of the bride has a lot on his plate and is probably nervous if he not too good a giving speeches. The father of the bride plays an important role in the wedding. The speech he delivers must be memorable and special. You are giving your approval of you new son in law and your daughters growing up, no longer your little girl and also welcoming you daughters husband into the family.
