Equity release. Suitable for divorce.

Some sell house fast companies are playing on the fact that their services are suitable for those going through a divorce. Whilst that may be so, equity release mortgages are not as suitable and I would go far as to say equity release mortgages are unsuitable for these clients.
Why? Well, equity release mortgages require you to have some sort of stability in your future. Divorcees often get back together which makes the long term instability of that relationship unsuitable for equity release mortgages because a decision to tie down the equity in a house for money may need to be reversed when the relationship changes back to what it was.
