Convert Your Car To Electric

Up, up, up! Will we ever see better gas prices or will we continue to see gas rise with no end in site? Do you know that there has been electric car conversions available since 1979? I never knew that you could take an ordinary car corvette for example and convert it to run off of electricity. Sure I had seen the research major motor companies had been doing to provide us with electrical cars but I never knew that you could convert your own everyday car. I have been looking at some of these kits but it’s all so confusing to a non mechanic like me. However with gas prices rising could it really be that more expensive to go ahead and convert?
