Broken Crock

April 15th, 2009

Crockpots always have the tendency to crack. When I read slow cooker reviews, this is the first thing that immediately casts a negative impression of the product in my mind. Imagine wasting close to a hundred bucks on a slow cooker only to find it cracked after a couple of uses! I can still be appeased if I get a free replacement quickly, but if I do not, I am left feeling cheated of the ‘crackpot’ purchase. I had this experience before and that is why I am now very careful whenever I shop for kitchen appliances, especially slow cookers, mixers, and bread machines.
