Bringing Flowers Up On The Porch

My mom is getting on in years, and I know that she has been sad about not being able to get out in her garden this year. She always had the most beautiful flower beds, and so this year I bought her some planters filled with her favorite flowers for a surprise gift. She was so happy to receive them, and I placed them up on her front porch so that they were visible from the street. She told me that it makes her happy to see and smell the blooms, and that it reminds her of when she used to be able to plant her own garden.
