Removing Wine Stains from Oriental Rugs

November 2nd, 2011

When the owner of the house loves to host a party, oftentimes, they get caught with the problem of stained carpets due to wine spills.  If it is not possible to bring the carpets to a professional cleaner, wine stains can be removed even at home. Persian carpet cleaning Toronto shops suggests using white cloths or paper towels to blot the stained area then spray water on the stain to loosen the wine sticking on the carpet.  Blot again then spray a mild dishwashing soap diluted in water or a mixture of vinegar and water.   Blot again with a clean cotton cloth then dry the carpet with a blow dryer.
