It’s Time to Send Out the Baby Shower Invitations for My Sister’s Party

My sister is finally having her first baby. We wondered if she would ever meet the right man, fall in love, and get married. Then we wondered if they would ever decide to start a family before her internal clock stopped ticking. Now at last, my mother is going to become a grandmother. We are sending out baby shower invitations next week after my sister finds out whether she is having a girl or a boy. Since this is her first, she wants to know so that she can decorate the nursery and buy baby things with a son or a daughter in mind. I am so excited for her, and I know that she’ll make a wonderful mom.
