When trying to lose 40 pounds it is wise to avoid alcohol, unless of course you do not drink, then, nevermind.

There are never a shortage tips when it comes to losing weight. Whatever amount of weight you may be trying to lose, the suggestions are like a hundred car train, they just keep on coming. I was trying to lose 40 pounds at one point in my life and everyone I meet had a tip to give me to make my goal a reality. Now I do appreciate people’s interest and concern however in some cases it is rather needless. One friend told me to avoid alcohol, before I could say anything he launch into a 30 minute discourse into why alcohol was bad for people who are trying to lose weight. Problem was I do not drink, a fact I barley had the heart to tell him after his speech.
