What are in the shots that they use for heel pain treatment?

What are in the shots that they use for heel pain treatment? I have heard that it is cortisone, but I have also heard that it is her medications. Maybe it is a combination of medications. My heels have been bothering me very badly. I went to the foot doctor for the pain. He gave me some oral medications, but they haven’t made a difference in the amount of pain I have been experiencing. The doctor told me that he was going to start the shots if the oral medications didn’t work. I just wonder what is in them.
