Use Red to Improve Concentration

People with poor memories often additionally suffer from problems with concentration. It makes sense that someone who has difficulty concentrating will also have trouble remembering. After all, if you can absorb the material in the first place, you certainly won’t be able to remember it later.
Fortunately there are a number of tricks for improve concentration. One of the most intriguing is the use of the color red.
A recent study in the journal “Science” showed that red helped the study participants improve concentration as well as memory. Apparently the color red stimulates the part of the brain associated with your ability to focus.
In an opposite way, study participants who were exposed to blue suffered from impaired concentration and memory.
So what’s the lesson here? If you need to focus, look at something red. Maybe paint a wall in your office red, wear a red shirt, or place red knicknacks on your desk.
