The Causes Of A Yeast Infection

September 29th, 2008

An imbalance of Candida albicans is the primary cause of a yeast infection. Stress may contribute to this, or the belief that sexual interaction or hormonal changes are contributing factors. Since no actual cause is related to a yeast infection then it is even more imperative to know how to avoid them. Taking a course of antibiotics can also cause a yeast infection. Even something as simple as overdoing personal hygiene can be a major contributing factor and irritating soaps can trigger a yeast infection. Tight clothes tend to increase moisture in sensitive areas. Curing a yeast infection by preventing it is the wisest course.
