Story of a Drop Foot Survivor

I’ve had drop foot in both feet for a number of years + peripheral neuropathy. I think the PN has come from type 2 diabetes but I also drank quite heavily for 30 years. I’m 71 now and my drop foot hasn’t gotten any worse over the last 4 years or so – but I exercise my feet everyday – I put on my shoes -dig my heels into the carpet and with a combination of pulling upward while holding my heels stationary – I do 200 at least everyday. This has kept my feet from dragging and that includes the treadmill where I walk 1-2 miles just about everyday. I also use Drop Foot AFO Braces when needed.
