Unfortunately, you are going to have to be your own advocate. Most doctors don’t have enough time to go over everything with a fine toothed comb like they should. Make sure you are firm but pleasant. Tell him you want tests before you purchase any sort of male fertility vitamins. Demand that they do urine and blood testing from the start. You also want them to do an ultrasound on your testicles. If your doctor isn’t willing to do all of this on your behalf then it may be time to consider finding a new medical professional that will. If you really want to have a baby then you need to put the effort into finding out the core of your problem.
