Skin Care Is Important When Treating Acne

Acne is one of those conditions which needs to be attacked as soon as it appears and which requires a proactive acne solution. This said, the skin is also a delicate part of the body and so any treatment must also be accompanied by a good skin care regime. For example, you should wash your skin gently with a mild soap and water and not try to scrub your acne off as many people mistakenly think. Excessive and harsh cleaning will only help to spread your acne. Also, if you are a man then you will need to take particular care when it comes to shaving and use a good shaving cream to soften the hair before shaving and then shave with great care. If you are a woman then you will need to be especially careful in your choice of cosmetics and choose only those which are recommended for use with acne. Good skin care will not cure your acne, but poor skin care can make it a lot worse.
