My Doctor Sent Me to an Internist

My blood tests came back and my doctor said the blood sugar was a little high, and that might explain why I haven’t been feeling good. He says he can’t say for certain that it’s diabetes, but it’s suspicious and he thinks I should see a specialist. He sent me right over to another doctor at the Durham Medical Center, not far away at all. I was relieved I could get right in. They were quite nice there. They’re going to do some more tests and then I’ll be back to discuss any treatment options. I’m hoping this is something I can handle with diet, if that’s possible, but either way, I feel I’m in good hands.
