My Diet Success Began With Healthy Eating Guidelines

I suppose I am like a lot of women who want to lose weight.  Once I decided I wanted to be slimmer, I wanted it now and was willing to do anything to get there. That meant starvation, fad diets, and some eating plans that actually put weight on.  Finally my doctor suggested I just begin walking each evening and balance my nutrition.  She gave me some guidelines for healthy eating which I used to plan a reduced-calorie menu.  It was not long before the weight slowly begin to come off.  I am now at my ideal weight, have more energy than I have in years, and my husband even says I look younger.
